The Tennessee Electronic Library is a great resource for young learners. From this website, you can help your children complete research using safe and secure sites, browse books or play educational games.
This interactive e-library is a great resource offered to all families at Yates. There are books for the children to read or be read to, puzzles, and games to build comprehension. (This site is linked through the Cleveland Public Library. You will need to scroll down to the Tumblebooks link inorder to connect to the site.)
Starfall
This website is excellent for beginning readers. It starts with letter recognition and sounds, and moves up to reader's theatre and poems. The site has recently added math skills, as well. There is no username or password needed in order to access this site.
